CADAM3D allows the use of scripts to automate analyses. Scripts use the text format with the *.das file extension and contain a series of commands, one per line, that will be executed sequentially.
The scripts utility may be usefull for :
- Statistical analyses: Similar to Monte-Carlo simulation, CADAM3D scripting tool may be used to execute thousands of analyses and extract specific results to compute probabilistic results. The user will probably have to generate the script using another software and the same to process the results.
- Incremental analyses: CADAM3D offers an incremental analysis where only one parameter may be incremented. However, the scripting tool may be used to increment many parameters simultaneously that may be dependent (e.g. U/S and D/S reservoir levels).
